An emerging professional in his current field, his work is influenced by his paths in life so far: a previous career in the book publishing industry and the experience of immigrating from a tropical country to the cold Canadian capital. Sebastian's photographic style is decidedly urban, looking at how the places that we inhabit shape us as people, with special attention to the contrasts of modern life, incorporating different visual techniques to support the storytelling and aesthetic impact of his images. His works often feature night locations, bright neon lights, dreamy effects and high contrast. With a wide range of skills from his background, he has photographed portraits, events, sports, weddings, products and fashion. His personal artistic projects are mainly focused on street photography. A graduate from the University of São Paulo and Simon Fraser University in Social Communication, Sebastian is continuing his education in the Photography Program of Algonquin College.
